Peterhead Nets Another Season Of League One Football

After 36 games in what was a competitive league, north-east side Peterhead FC has ensued it will be playing League One football again next season. Backed by Kerloch Oil Tools, Peterhead FC put in a series of good performances over the 2014-15 season to maintain a place in League One for the forthcoming season. League Two champions in 2013-14, the side fought a strong campaign in their first season back in the third tier of Scottish football. The Blue Toon finished the season in sixth place, comfortably mid-table and three points ahead of former premiership side Dunfermline Athletic. The team won 14 of their 36 league one matches and drew nine, and netted 51 goals in the campaign. Kerloch Oil Tools, which specialises in premium threading and the repair and manufacture of oilfield country tubular goods (OCTG), has been the Balmoor side’s main shirt sponsor for the past two seasons and has strong links with the side through its workforce.
